New Bill introduced to change private detective licensing in pennsylvania

The Private Detective Act of 1953 has governed the private investigative and private security industry in Pennsylvania for sixty-two years, but that may be about to change.  Here's a link to the Private Detective Act of 1953, and here's Pennsylvania House Bill 514.  If this bill becomes law, private detectives will be licensed by a state board rather than by individual counties.
